Full Moon Fiasco 99 in Review

99 bottles of beer on the wall,
99 bottles of beer.
Take one down and pass it around,
98 bottles of beer on the wall...

Full Moon Fiasco 99 is in the books. Our ride happened to fall on Bittersweet Chocolate Day. Who doesn't like chocolate?! So, it seemed like a good theme.

20+ riders braved the winter storm and were rewarded with some dark chocolate. We did a short cruise through downtown and a loop through City Beach. We plowed through the rather deep snow and arrived and the nice and toasty warm Connie's Lounge for our destination.

I don't think anyone was anxious about heading back out into the storm, so most stayed rather long. Thanks to Linda and the rest of the Connie's staff for having us, and keeping us hydrated.

Next ride is #100!!! Stay tuned...

Full Moon Fiasco 99

Here we roll into a new decade...

When: Fri, Jan 10th @ 7pm
Where: Eichardt's
Theme: Oh Chocolate, How I Love Thee

Wow, so much going on here. FBC Sandpoint starts a new decade of full moon rides. This will be ride #99. Yup, 99 of these crazy rides. Also, it is National Bittersweet Chocolate Day. I know, which of those is more amazing?

Did you know that milk chocolate is the most common and popular chocolate in the US? Bittersweet Chocolate or Dark Chocolate is kinda like the odd stepchild of the chocolate world. Without the addition of milk to even out the bitterness, it tends to be harder, richer, and a common ingredient in baking. Bring your dollar for a spoke card this month, and we will be handing our samples. Chocolate and beer, it's a thing. See ya then.

Full Moon Fiasco 98 in Review

35+ riders came out in the holiday garb for our last ride. We couldn't have asked for a better night! Temps were cool, and big flakes were falling from the sky. Roads were in good condition.

We did kinda a long route because conditions were so grand. Most liked that, a couple didn't. We ended at the Longshot.

There we piled all our finely wrapped gift around the Festivus Pole, had some holiday cheer and then did our annual gift exchange. It was a ton of fun. If anyone made a fool of themselves, I certainty don't remember.

Big thanks to Brandon and the crew at the Longshot for hosting us and staying open late. The venue there is great for the full moon rides, so we definitely will be going back!
