Here we come 2019...
When: Tue, Jan 22nd @ 7pm
Theme: Celebration of Life (or Bike)
Well, we made it another year. This winter has been rather mild down here in town compared to last year. Hence, our rides have been much less challenging.
Our next ride happens to fall on 2 major holidays: National Answer Your Cat's Question Day and National Celebration of Life Day. Now, cats are evil. Even if they were able to pose you a question, they would have little interest in your answer. While they're sitting there with their little fuzzy head half cocked and looking intently at you blabbing at them, they are secretly thinking of ways to torment you in the wee hours. We are not going to play into their fantasies.
So, on to the Nation Holiday, "Celebration of Life." This holiday is much like you think, and probably a little of what you don't. You can read about it HERE. Or I can summarize. First, make a list of good things in your life worth celebrating (ie: cool bikes, good friends, beer, living in Sandpoint, health, the fact you don't have a cat, etc.). Make it your ideal day, and well, since your part of this bike club I'm guessing that means you like riding bikes, full moons, friends. Lastly, do things you enjoyed as a kid. Now from what I've seen before, this will not be hard for some of you, myself included. But, you know, cut loose a bit.
If you wanna dress up, wear something that makes you happy. Otherwise, just show up with the above in mind. See ya there!
