Full Moon Fiasco 51

It's your birthday!

When: Mon, Feb 22nd @ 7pm
Where: Eichardt's
Theme: Formal Attire

You know how when your birthday comes around your mom always likes to tell everyone embarrassing stories from when you were just a young little tike?  No?  Maybe it is just my mom.  But as we draw near to the FBC Birthday ride, I reflect back to the beginning.  Ahh, it was just four years ago when we took our first formal FBC cruise under the full moon.  You all were so awkward and unsure in the beginning.  Questions swirled like, "Why is the destination a secret?"  "Do I need to train to go on these rides?"  "What is this spoke card for, do I attach it to my wheel somehow?"  "Can I really ride just any old bike?"  "Do I have to dress up to ride?"  Slowly, everyone grew and learned together.  And now just look at where you are today!

Anyways, back to the ride.  Get dressed up in your best attire.  We will ride somewhere real special.  There will be live music.  We will give away some swag.  We will have awards for Best Dressed for the evening.  And we will also crown the FBC Sandpoint Member of the Year.  And there will be some more stories.

You will not wanna miss this ride.

Full Moon Fiasco 50 in Review

The first ride of 2016 went off without a hitch.  It was the anniversary of beer coming out in cans, and so, our ride honored that historic day.  30 riders collected at Eich's.  Our route was a rather long one for the middle of winter.  But given our lack of winter this year, the roads were bone dry.  It was a great night for riding, but we ended at Connie's to rehydrate.

We have been to Connie's before.  They are always good to us.  This time around they stayed open passed closing, so we could all hang out and listen to tunes off the jukebox.  They also offered us a drink special for the evening, that was pretty nice. Thanks to Amy for all her work behind the bar.

FYI: On our February 22nd ride, we will celebrate the birth of this little FBC bike club, some 4 years ago.  Get your formal attire together and stay tuned for full details...
