Full Moon Fiasco XXXII in Review

As the end of August nears, all the kiddies go back to school.  So, it only seemed appropriate we have a "Back to School" themed ride for this month.  A record number 166 riders showed up at Eichs for the ride.  For those keeping track, our July ride set a rider record.  We smashed that with 8 more riders this time around.  Well done.

We headed out under the full moon and did a couple loops through a round about on our way to West Sand.  We headed down Division, looped through South Sand and eventually took 2nd avenue all the way down to our final destination, the 219er.  31 Full Moon rides and we have never been to the 219er...mostly because we were waiting for the construction to be completed on the back deck.  It was well worth the wait.  10 outdoor beer taps, live music, lots of seating and all under the open sky...bitchin!  Rachel and crew did a great job serving everyone.

On the back deck I saw some of the following: hula hooping, wood paddlings, professional photography, creepy stalking, interviewing, dancing, friend making and some general FBC shenanigans.

There were a lot of people who dressed up.  We haven't done any Best Dressed Awards in a while.  Maybe that is part of the reason why it seemed really hard to pick winners.  Girls: 1st=Reesa (with her very naughty school teacher outfit complete with wooden spankin' ruler) 2nd=Vanessa. Boys: 1st=Devon 2nd=JJ

  1. Some day I'll look up where Sandpoint is located and sponsor the whole Fairhaven group to do a full moon ride with youse. Since I'm the only one who shows for the FBC-Fairhaven group, the plane fare shouldn't be that expensive.
