Full Moon Fiasco X

I know some of you have a hard time with the roman numerals, but this one should be easy for you...

When: Oct 29th @ 7pm
Where: Eichardt's
Theme: The Hunter and the Huntee

In a continuing effort to educate the masses about random moon knowledge, we will celebrate the Hunter's Moon this month.  The Hunter's Moon is not brighter, bigger or any different in color than any other Full Moon.  However, the moon rise time is shorter between evenings around the Hunter's Moon (and Harvest Moon from last month).  All this means there is no long periods of darkness between when the sun goes down and the moon rises.  This time of "extra light" each day was used by hunters (and harvesters) to gather their winter food.

Now wake up!  We here at FBC Sandpoint Headquarters are not taking a stand on whether we condone hunting or not...although we do like a good juicy steak.  But we would like to pay a little homage to those that have used this moon cycle to hunt for their winter food in the past.

So, dress as a hunter (ie big game gunner, bird dog, fisherman, etc) or if that image disturbs or is too aggressive for you, come dressed as the huntee (ie bear, rabbit, salmon, etc).
