Full Moon Fiasco V

Well, we had a good run, but now it's back to a school night.

When: Mon, June 4th @ 8pm
Where: Eichardt's
Theme: 80s Rule

As I sit and write this, it is pouring down rain.  However, I assure you the weather will be an awesome summer night for this ride (for whatever my prediction is worth).

Break out your 80s crap, I know you have some still sitting in the back of your closet.  Our route will again be a little longer than last as we enjoy the nice weather.

If I could make one request, please bring lights on these rides.  Not only do lights look cool, they also make the group safer.

Still just a buck to get your commemorative spoke card...plan accordingly.

Ride on...

Bikes are always fun and sometimes serious.  Tonight is the Ride of Silence, one of the many events of Sandpoint Bike Week.  This is a great ride and I do it every year.  Come show your support for the cause.

When: Wed, May 16th @ 5:30pm
Where: City Beach

Full Moon Fiasco IV in Review

Fiasco impresionante luna llena Cuatro, gracias FBCers y nuestra luna mega super!

25ish riders assembled at Eich's for a special Full Moon Fiasco that fell on a Saturday, Cinco de Mayo and featured a super, mega moon.  Weather held and conditions couldn't have been better.

In addition, we had a superb collection of bikes on the ride: classic cruisers, home-made jobers, a  tandem, a  recumbent, a fixie, road bikes and mtn bikes.  Adding to that the mix, we had some special guest from our FBC Spokane chapter come over for the ride...highlighting the fact that all bikes and their riders are welcome.

We also inducted some new members into FBC Sandpoint, this group is really blossoming!

We had a nice route through West Sand that dropped through the South side and to our ultimate destination of Trinity at City Beach.  Before I forget, there was a little know round-about that we worked into the route (always awesome).  Anyway, Trinity had a big Cinco de Mayo party going on and some drink specials for all our FBC riders!  In addition, they were doing a fundraiser for Leadership Sandpoint with some great raffle prizes.  Trinity is heavily involved in our community...particularly when it comes to helping bikers.  Big thanks to Justin and the crew for a great night!

As usual, we had an award for Best Dressed.  It was tight among the voters, but in the end the award went to FBC Lifetime Member for Life Tom.  The Clint Eastwood vibe complete with large, smoking stogie was a shoe in.
